Wobbly ride

In Cambodia people often carry a big load on their bikes. This guy is carrying a long piece of bamboo. I think it is very heavy and it is making his bike wobble. See the rice growing on the side of the road near him? (It's very green.) It is growing in water. If he runs off the road I think he will get wet.

If it was me, I think I would have wobbled into the water. Maybe he is a better rider than your Grandpa. He was able to keep going on the road.

Want to race?

When I went to visit my friends who live on the rice farm out of town, I took a walk around the neighbourhood. I saw some kids driving oxcarts. They go very slowly.

Do you think you would like to have a ride on an oxcart?

Rooster

Some of my friends live on a farm near here where they grow rice. I went to visit them. They have chickens too. The chickens can go anywhere they like but they always stay close to home because my friends feed them every day. When my friends have a meal they eat under the house. It is open and the chickens can walk in too. If anyone has some food to throw away they drop it on the ground and the chickens come and eat it (or sometimes a cat or dog).

I took a photo of one of their roosters. Do you like its colours?

Our new babies

At last I have pictures of our new babies. Aren't we lucky to have two wonderful new kids in our family? I hope we can always have a good time together.
